It all began with an idea.
With our Bricky Picys digital Lego art business, we've been able to utilize our love of Lego by creating stunning visual designs that capture the imagination. By starting the SigFigPics service, we're now able to interact with our donors (and fellow Lego enthusiasts) in an even more personal way.
Growing up, the process of building with Lego bricks and minifigure parts goes through many phases and interests. However, there's always a common denominator: at some point in time, you've tried to "build yourself" in minifigure form. And while you may not have realized it at the time, you created your very own custom "SigFig", or Signature Figure. This custom representation of yourself could now interact with the Lego world.
At Bricky Picys, one of our favorite past-times is creating customized Lego minifigures, including SigFigs. So we thought, why not blend our artistic taste with some good-ole-fashioned Lego minifigure designing, but on a direct and personal scale? And thus, SigFigPics was born; an online digital Lego caricature service that allows donors to design their ultimate SigFig selves with no limits on creativity, with a splash of our classic Bricky Picys approach. After you design a SigFig, we assemble the minifigure caricature of you with an artistic spin, before taking a stunning, stylized photograph out in the natural world. By doing so, we combine our brick-making and artistic photography in one customized digital art caricature piece, or as we like to say, a SigFigPic!
