Build Your SigFigPic

An easy-to-use, step-by-step process that allows you to design and create the ultimate LEGO caricature version of yourself!

At SigFigPics, we don't consider our patrons to be "customers". We take things on a much more personal approach and consider each patron a gracious "donor". As local artists in the Northeastern United States area, we enjoy building close relationships with the people who support our projects. And through your generous donations, we are able to create fully customized LEGO caricature versions of you in a "digital print" format.

How It Works

Step 1

Browse our collection of options for your SigFig. Choose your favorite type of character from the given categories, or if you're feeling bold and original, write in a personal character type that accurately describes you.

Our 3-Step commission process is simple and unique: it's based on easy efficiency for donor enjoy-ability.

Step 2

After selecting your ideal type of character, fill out our commission form with the appropriate information. This is where you can fully customize your SigFig caricature: list any additional text you want the final picture to include (such as names or titles), and add in specific details about your SigFig (such as hobbies or favorite interests). The possibilities are endless here. Customize away!

Step 3

After you've submitted your commission form, we'll respond to you in 1-3 business days. In this email, we'll review your commission in a summary to ensure it is to your liking. We'll also include a secure PayPal link for donation for the commission. Once your SigFigPic commission is funded, you'll receive the digital, printable file of your personalized SigFigPic sent directly to your email inbox within 7-10 business days!

Step 1 - Character Selection

Browse our selection of Character Types for your SigFigPic. These will be the general design element themes used for you caricature, meaning that the LEGO minifigure parts utilized will fit the Character Type you choose. For an example, choosing "Ninja" will help us tailor-make a SigFig with a ninja-inspired appearance. Or, choosing Bounty Hunter and Superhero will help us to tailor-make a SigFig with minifigure pieces based on both Character Types. You're allowed up to two choices to create the perfect blend of character style. If you don't see anything that matches you, or only see one option that fits your perfect caricature self, skip down to Step 2 and fill in your own custom Character Type(s) instead!

(NOTE - The skin tone used for a digital LEGO minifigure caricature created by SigFigPics is at SigFigPics' sole discretion, unless a particular skin tone is specified by the donor in their commission form under "Additional details about your SigFig's physical appearance".

Also, our commission form is tailored for a singular SigFigPic submission, which means only one SigFig caricature per 8 x 10 or 10 x 8 digital art photo. For multi-SigFig group photos (such as siblings, friends, family or co-workers), send us a special request for a commission (with some of the preliminary details on what you're looking for) using the Contact Form available on our Contact Us page. We'll happily work closely with you to personally design your unique SigFigPic request with the specifications you want, including specific design elements for the SigFigs, size of the caricature photo, etc.)

Step 3 - The Final Touches

Congratulations! You've submitted your SigFigPic commission form - so what next? From here, the last part of the donation process is quite easy.

We use your name and email to draft up a custom"commission review" email, going over the details of your commission to confirm they are to your liking. We'll send this commission review to the email you provided us in 1-3 business days. We'll also include the donation amount total and a secure PayPal link in the same commission review. You will have up to three business days to make the donation to fund the commission before we consider the commission as being cancelled.

Once the commission has been funded, we'll send you a donation confirmation. From there, within 7-10 business days, the digital caricature SigFigPic file (sized 8 inches x 10 inches or 10 inches x 8 inches depending on how the SigFig is photographed, and depending if the donor specifies) will be sent directly to the same email address you've provided us. Every completed SigFigPic is edited and finished at 300 PPI (Pixels Per Inch) for the highest digital quality.

You can contact us at any time throughout the process. Feel free to reach out and we will do our best to accommodate your questions. Thank you for using our custom digital caricature service; we can't wait to hear from you!

* It is important to note that SigFigPics is a one-time digital art caricature-based service, meaning that each SigFigPic is a unique, one-of-a-kind digital art caricature based upon the information donors provide via the Build-Your-SigFigPic commission form. In the traditional caricature-service sense, there are no re-dos, adjustments or changes made to the finished SigFigPic after it is sent to the donor's email they provide. There are no revisions, additional versions, variations or additional commissions/requests of the finished SigFigPic once it is sent to the donor. Each SigFigPic is a digital LEGO caricature artwork that we invest many hours into designing, and we strive to deliver the best possible finished caricature of our donors the very first time.
